New reality show on Susan Boyle

London, Sep 3

After her overnight rise to fame via a reality show, singer Susan Boyle will now be the focus of a new TV show chronicling her day-to-day life in Scotland.

The 50-year-old singing sensation is to appear in a fly-on-the-wall documentary to show how little she has changed since shooting to worldwide fame after competing on Britains Got Talent in 2009.

The footage follows her in her hometown of Blackburn, West Lothian, carrying out everyday tasks such as grocery shopping and attending church, reported Daily Record.

Boyle has been filmed since January and the footage includes her backstage ahead of her performance on Chinas Got Talent and recording a charity duet with British comic Peter Kay.

Despite the fact shes had this enormous success in record sales, she wanted to show her fans shes still the same Susan. She still lives in the same house and has a normal life, said a source.

Since the beginning of 2011, she has been filmed for a fly-on-the-wall documentary about her life. The program will be shown on UK station ITV1 just before the release of her new album Someone to Watch Over Me on November 7.
